Global Warming

proves of global warming

Three main examples show that global warming is real. The first evidence is clearly visible at the poles where icebergs are melting down, increasing the sea level quickly. Isabella Velicogna, the study's lead author and a research scientist at Colorado University at Boulder's Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences said: "The ice sheet is losing mass at a significant rate. It's a good indicator of how the climate is changing. It tells us we have to pay attention." The second prove involves migration of the species native of warmer zones into the "traditional" cooler environments, and as consequence of that the lack of control of foreign pests and diseases. For example, once confined to land near the equator, West Nile Virus is now found as far north as Canada, infected more than 21,000 people in the United States and Canada and killed more than 800. The third evidence is that the climate disorders increase the number of storms and hurricanes. Over the past century, the number of hurricanes that strike each year has more than doubled. Scientists blame global warming and the rising temperature of the surface of the seas. These examples show us that global warming is real, and is related to all people in the world to stop it.

Domestic Violence

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Domestic violence is a very common problem in the society that we live; It doesn´t respect gender, social class, sexual orientation, or any other demographic aspect, anyone can be a victim of it without anyone knowing, most of the abused and aggressor people restrict themselves to speak out their situation; however some warning signs betray them, and those signs not necessarily have to be marks or scars, as Dianne Feinstein says,“Domestic violence causes far more pain than the visible marks of bruises and scars. It is devastating to be abused by someone that you love and think loves you in return. It is estimated that approximately 3 million incidents of domestic violence are reported each year in the United States.” When someone changes his behavior, humor, or personality, could mean that this person is being abused. Some other signs that alert about domestic violence could be the scars or injuries that may have an aggressed person; in these cases they usually try to justify those facts elaborating stories of how the marks occurred. The low self-stem could cause the absences to work or to school that could affect the individual performance is one of the most remarkable warning signs of domestic violence. If you notice this kind of things in someone that you know, don’t hesitate in let the police or any other authorities know about it, this could save a life.
